VM in hotdog 2021 is a cooking competition for primary school students where creativity and innovation was put to the test, when 20 teams had to rethink a hotdog from a taste, climate and health perspective. In the semifinale the teams had to present their hotdog for a professional judging panel consisting of Per Mandrup, Lasse Starup Petersen, Flemming Larsen and Anna Kirkeby.
The final was conducted during Vejle Food Festival on saturday, June 12, where 5 teams were selected and had 1 hour to sell the most hotdogs. The winning team was Hotter Hut From Firehøjeskolen with their Chicken Dog.
