At Culinary Instityte by VejleErhverv we want to explore innovation and creativity. That's why we organize and involve in a large amount of different culinary events. From The Potato Award, Taste the Art and lobster festivals. Be updated on the different events and where to find us next.

In Hal D you can explore Foodexpos large entrepreneur area. Here it will be possible to meet entrepreneurs from the Triangle Region and to have a informal conversation with mentor Per Mandrup at the table of dialogue.

At the Vejle Championship of hotdog a selection of  elementary students has to rethink the traditional hotdog from a climate, health and taste perspective.  Read more about the competition and sign up today right here.

TOUR DE FRANCE

Sun. 3. of july

The 3rd grand depart in Tour de France will take off in Vejle and end in Sønderborg with a route of 182 km. The entire city will be filled with fun activities as preperation for the kickstart. Get more information on the departure, sign up as voluntary and get real close on the tour in Vejle.

Taste the Art is a nordic food and art festival, where chefs and artists get together and create synergy both on the plate, note sheet and canvas.  Taste the Art had its debut at ARoS in september 2007 and again in 2009

at Aarhus Concert Hall. 

DAY OF TASTE

Wed. 28. of september

Day of taste focus on the sense of taste among elementary students. The goal is to get the students to think about what they out in their mouth and why they do it. As a teacher you can recieve different teaching material for 4 - 7 graders and electives. The theme varies from year to year, so keep an eye on when the theme gets published for 2022.

The Potato Kartoffelprisen is an unconventional cooking competition, where a selection of innovative and creative chefs have to cook a 3-course menu with the potato as the leading role. The winner gets to walk away with a travel grant of 20.000 kr. See the competion rules and how to sign up here.

The anual cooking competition for elementary students, where its all about being creative and cook an entire disheither a starter, maincourse or dessert, where the potato has to be the center of attention. From pictures and recipies a maximum of 16 teams gets selected to compete in the final. Read more about the competion and how to sign up here.
