The Potato Sprout 2022 is a cooking competition for elementary school students and was conducted on October 25 and 26, 2022.
20 teams had to present either an appetizer, main course or dessert, where the potato had to play the main role. The dishes were presented to our panel of judges consisting of Per Mandrup and Ida Haarby Drevald. The winning dish was an ice cream cone on baked, a creamy vanilla ice cream also made with baked potatoes, a lime mousse, and homemade organic, raspberry jam, made by Anne, Frida, Frederikke, Kirstine and Maja, from 8th grade at Kirstine Seligmanns School.
